We are excited to be offering Pastured Pork raised right here at Robinette Farms!  Right now, you can find our pork every Saturday at the Haymarket Farmers' Market.  In the next couple of weeks, we'll also have it at the Old Cheney Road Farmers' Market on Sundays.  All of our pigs are raised without the use of steroids, hormones and antibiotics.  They lived a comfortable life rooting through a large wooded area inbetween our fields and our farmstead.  Interested in learning more?  Stop by and chat with us at market before you take that bacon home!

We just got notice that we have been accepted at the Haymarket Farmer' Market for this season!

We are excited to be a new produce vendor at the Haymarket for the 2011 season.  We will be offering our produce, grown without the use of chemicals and our meats raised on pasture later in the season.

The market starts on Saturday, May 7th, from 8am to noon --- we'll see  you there!

We are already more than halfway through the month of April and things are rolling right along!  Our 2011 Interns arrived at the beginning of the month and we have been pleasantly surprised at how much work we can cruise through on the farm now.  Keep your eyes peeled to the Staff page for bios and pictures of our new crew.

As we are busy transplanting into the field and keeping up on our greenhouse plantings, we are harvesting twice a week for local restaurants and cleaning up the farm for the spring (which is here now).

We moved the laying hens into their new home at the beginning of the month and last week we welcomed 16 pigs on to the farm.  This week we are expecting our first round of chicks for our pastured poultry, and our bee hives will be arriving from the UNL Apiary next week.  Phew!

We still have CSA Shares available for this season, with the first pick up in 5 1/2 weeks!  The first Farmers' Markets are just around the corner, and we'll be opening up our Farm Stand on the farm sometime in May.  Stay tuned to learn where to find us, our produce and our meat this year!

Our 2011 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is now open!  For 20 weeks from late May to early October enjoy fresh vegetables grown locally without chemicals by farmers you trust.  Learn more about how our CSA works or join now!
